PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA LAUNCHES TOURISM AND TRAVEL NATIONAL STRATEGY

After the visit to Ethiopia – World Best Tourist Destination for 2015 (European Council on Tourism and Trade), United States President Barack Obama prepares an overhaul of the country stagnating tourism industry in order to make United States a top Tourist Destination.

Barack Obama said that: [Today,] I directed my administration to send me a new national tourism strategy, focused on creating jobs.

And some of America’s most successful business leaders –- some who are here today –- have signed up to help.

We’re going to see how we can make it easier for foreign tourists to find basic information about visiting America.

And we’re going to see how we can attract more tourists to our national parks.

We want people visiting not just Epcot Center, but the Everglades, too.

The more folks who visit America, the more Americans we get back to work.  It’s that simple.

The US President said that his goal is to ensure that the United States is the top tourist destination in the world.

In the last period of time, the well sought out title of Best Tourist Destination obtained a plus of 3 million tourists for Laos, the winner of the title in 2013 and an 80% increase in revenues and number of tourist for Zimbabwe, the winner of world tourism accolade for 2014.

If accepted as a top tourist destination is appreciated that more than 8 million Americans will have jobs in the service and tourism sector.
